Lac Bodom

Lac Bodom
Le lac Bodom, en finnois Bodominjärvi, en suédois Bodom träsk, est un lac finlandais situé dans la région d'Uusimaa de la province de Finlande-Méridionale, prés des villes d'Espoo et d'Helsinki.

Histoire
Ce lac est connu pour avoir été le théâtre de plusieurs meurtres dans la nuit du 4 juin 1960. Quatre adolescents (deux garçon, Nils Gustafsson et Seppo Boisman, et deux filles, Tuulikki Mäki et Irmeli Björklund) étaient venus camper près du lac. Durant la nuit, ils furent mystérieusement attaqués alors qu'ils dormaient. Trois d'entre eux, S. Boisman, T. Mäki et I. Blörklund, furent massacrés. Seul l'un d'eux survécut.

En juin 2005, le survivant, Nils Gustafsson, fut inculpé du meurtre de ses amis. Le 7 octobre 2005, il fut acquitté de la charge de meurtres. Quarante ans après, l'affaire reste donc, pour l'heure, non résolue.

Le groupe de Death Metal finlandais Children of Bodom tire son nom de ce drame.
